Children in School
The Reaching Out Project

providing opportunities for children to education
Our Five Year Mission
is to improve and transform the lives of impoverished and vulnerable children in Cambodia and beyond. The core of our mission is to help and support children to continue school and reverse the phenomenon and extended trend of children drop out of school in Cambodia and Region, ensuring that children stay in school. Poverty, lack of transportation and mental health disorders are the primary reasons that children in Cambodia and the wider region permanently drop out of school.
Our cause is rooted in the fundamental belief that education is the only path towards a better life, out of poverty and mental health disorders.
The Reaching out Project, mission focus and helps thousands of vulnerable children and their families, and creating a pathway to escape a world of permanent poverty and forced labor, through education, enhancing living conditions, educational opportunities, and mental health support.
We support Children, Schools and Communities to break this poverty cycle and improve mental health as a Global Call for Action, to succeed our cause.
A safe, secure, and sustainable environment, education and child-friendly schools (as a National Call from Government) are the key factors ensuring that children stay in school and grow up sustainably.
“The Reaching Out Project” is our heartfelt initiative and signifies our commitment to leaving behind a better world.
We choose to live in a world hat help and support have no borders, no race, no religio.

Say About Us
The Reaching Out Project has taken shape and form thanks to two remarkable individuals: Eleni and Thomas. They have embraced children in Cambodia, and through their actions, they bring hope for a better life and countless smiles to these little angels!

We are in awe of both Eleni Ioannidoy and Dr Thomas Theodorakopoulos, founders of the “Reaching out Project”. After their Journey to Cambodia and sawing the extreme poverty of children couldn’t stand idle. Though they both have busy careers they decided to spearhead the Initiative with fundamental belief that children’ education is the only way out of poverty. They have cut out the middleman, do all the work. We support them and encourage everyone to contribute to this wonderful cause. Every little bit helps.
Through my participation in The Reaching Out Project, I felt the joy of being a global citizen. It provides us with the opportunity to practically extend our solidarity to children, who represent the fragile future of humanity, even if they are in a distant country like Cambodia.
There are some bright fellow humans among us who, when they witness hunger and destitution, feel compelled to say, “We must do something,” even if they are on the other side of the world. Thus, The Reaching Out Project was born. We are all called upon to contribute to this noble mission and have the privilege of feeling that with a simple gesture here in Greece, we can change the lives of children in a distant country like Cambodia. Because human lives hold equal value everywhere.
