The Reaching out Project is the distinctive title of the nonprofit organization named “ELQ Initiative (Educational Lifetime Quotation) Civil Nonprofit Organisation which is registered in Greece (GEMI 170975301000) and supports poor and impoverished children, schools and communities in Cambodia and other Countries.

We use our websites to inform you about our aim and mission and about what we do. As you browse our website constitutes acceptance of the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

This policy explains the types of personal information that we may collect and hold, how that information is used and with whom the information is shared.

We take protecting your privacy very seriously and we take reasonable steps within our power to make sure your information is safe.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information is information that could reasonably allow you to be identified. We collect personal information to understand you better and meet your needs, to conduct our activities and meet legal obligations.

You can access our home page and browse our site without disclosing any personal data. Personal data are acquired only if you provide us with the data.

We accept online donations for our purposes. When you make a donation online or via mail, we collect your information, like name, address, donation amount, phone number, email address, that allows us to process and record your donation. Moreover, we collect your newsletter preferences (subscription) and any feedback that you provide to us about our services, our website, or other matters.

The processing of the personal data of the users of the website is governed by the relevant data protection legislation for personal data protection, and instructions and regulatory of the Personal Data Protection Authority.

We use cookies but you have the ability to accept or decline cookies. You can see and use our site even if you disable the cookie function on your browser. If you disable cookie function some advanced and customized features of our site may not be available to you. If you accept cookies, them based on your own computer configurations. Cookies make it possible to recognize your web browser, without however knowing any document or file from your computer. This data is collected anonymously for use for marketing and optimization purposes. All visitor data is stored using an anonymous user ID and can be grouped into a user profile. Cookies can be used to collect and store these data, but the data remains strictly anonymous. The data will not be used for personal identification of a visitor and will not be collected together with personal data. Data collection and storage can be discarded at any time for subsequent services.

We use statistics to improve the value of our site. User statistics are not personally identifiable and we make no attempt to link these logs and statistics with individuals who view our sites. Only authorized staff has access to our website logs and user statistics.

Information it is only for The Reaching out Project and the contact between us and visitors. It does not enable our visitors to communicate with other visitors or to post information for others to access. If you choose to visit another site by links we have in our site, we are not responsible for its content and privacy policy and we propose you to review its privacy policy.

DATA COLLECTION & PURPOSE SPECIFICATION

The only personal data we collect is that which you freely give us when you use our website. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. We do not sell, license, trade, provide and share your personal information to third parties.

We do not keep any financial data about donors, supporters or sponsors other than that required to verify that a relationship and/or transactions exists or has existed for transparency purposes and financial integrity. We do not keep credit card information or similar data. All electronic payment transactions operated through our website are handled by a secure and authorized third party which is contractually responsible for processing all credit card information and complying with applicable legislation.

If, for any reason, our privacy policy changes we will post it on our website or we may also contact you directly by email to inform you ask your agreement directly.

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as necessary for the above purposes, as described in detail, or for as long as may be required by a legal obligation (e.g., tax legislation). In the event that this reasonable period expires, your personal data will be anonymized and used for statistical purposes only.

Once we receive your request we will respond usually within a week. We will request proof of identity before we release you any information.
