Please read carefully the Terms and Condition of Use of our website. If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop using the website. We make every effort to ensure that the information provided on its website is complete and accurate. Users Responsibility

Users of our website are obliged to comply with all national, European and international legislation and forbear from any illegal and undue use of the content and services provided by our website and from any illegal and undue activity while using the website and in association to it.
Users of our website are also obliged to refrain from any act that may cause damage of any kind to the website, to third parties, for any cause or reason.
Users of the website accept not to use the website for sending, posting, emailing or transmitting in any way any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, slanderous, defamatory , obscene, fraudulent, invasive of another’s privacy, malicious, discriminant on the basis of race, national origin or in any other way, that may cause any damage, violates any patent, trademark, trade secret, intellectual rights or other third party property rights, contains computer viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, harm, destroy, change or limit the functionality of the website or any other computer software, hardware or other electronic equipment, intentionally or unintentionally violates existing Greek and European legislation and provisions, may harass others in any way and attempts to collect or store other users’ personal information.

Donation – payment methods

When you make a donation, you acknowledge that we collect your personal information in order to deliver a receipt to you for tax deductibility. By providing us with your personal details, you acknowledge and agree to transmit your details to us using the protocols with which the website is equipped.
We use three payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Card: We have a bank account in National Bank of Greece where you can make your donations securely using either your Credit Card details or your Debit Card.
  • PayPal: We have a PayPal account, which accepts payment securely through other PayPal accounts or via a credit card after completing the form on our website.
  • Direct Bank Transfer: We have a bank account in National Bank of Greece where you can make your donations securely using Direct our Bank account.

We are a registered nonprofit organisation in GEMI and we are able to issue Tax Deductible Receipts for your donations.

Cancellation policy

Your donation to our civil nonprofit organization, supports our mission. Donations are nonrefundable and irrevocable. However, we will consider returning donations to the donor:

  • If the donation was made with a stolen or lost card.
  • If you accidentally entered the wrong amount, or made a duplicate donation.
  • If you accidentally created a monthly donation when your intention was to make a one-time donation.

Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the date of the donation. Fraudulent transactions are an exception to this time limit.
Refunds are made using the original method of payment. We may ask for proof of identity and backup documentation before issuing a refund. You are responsible for any and all tax considerations that may arise if your donation is refunded.

To request a refund of your donation made directly to us please fill out our contact form with the subject line or email us: info@thereachingoutproject.org and provide:

  • Your full name,
  • the email address you used when making the donation,
  • your city and state,
  • your phone number,
  • date on which the donation was made,
  • the total amount of the relevant donation,
  • payment method, and all relevant circumstances justifying your request.

Upon receipt we will review your request and endeavor to respond to you within 7 business days. If your request is accepted, we will process the refund as quickly as possible.

Modification of the Website Terms of Use and Conditions

The civil non-profit organisation ELQ Initiative reserves the right to unilaterally modify or update the Website Terms of Use and Conditions, in accordance with the organisation’s needs We have the responsibility of informing users for any change, through the Website. Any possible relevant amendment shall form part of this section.
You are responsible for the information and content you submit and you are fully responsible for the information and content, including the statement of your age, which should be accurate.
