The Reaching Out Project is our Heart Project. We established the ELQ Initiative (Educational Lifetime Education) to help and support schools, children and communities in Cambodia and break this poverty cycle, and succeed our cause, which is to improve and change lives of poor children in Cambodia and else, by creating better living and educational conditions to them.
We focus on children needs both within schools and within their families.

Our Approach is aligned with the top six SDGs adopted by the United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call for action to end poverty, to protect planet and ensure all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. Our Approach is aligned with the National Call from Government for Child Friendly Schools, creating a secure, safe and better environment for them out of injury and out of violence.
Our Innovation approach uses 8 SDGs and through their integration we achieve better and faster results for the poor and vulnerable children.

The Reaching Out Project provides and introduces an innovative and integrated approach to solve school and living conditions of poor children’s lives. An Integrated approach that does not separate children, school and communities but support them as unity, leading to sustainable growth, Child Friendly Schools, Safe and Secure Communities with better living.
The Reaching Out Project integrates all needs and efforts of Children, Schools and Communities, so children can grow up in such an optimum way that combines not only material support but also enhancing each and every personality; To grow up like a complete person in a safe and quality environment, hence to be useful to society and family. Our innovative system of integration of needs and efforts gives us the ability to have a more complete picture of problems and how to drive things towards succeed our aim and mission.

How it Works
We focus on each one needs not as individual factors but as a unity, as being ONE Process.
The triangle of children, schools and communities is represented like a triangle integrated, leading to Sustainable Growth. It is a continuous process that each variable affects the other two, and that is why our Team focus in very high detail to spot all the problems in each variable and transform it to sustainable growth.
Needs, Efforts, Solutions
We see children as part of the school and schools as part of communities and communities as the place where children will become complete personalities.
Our help and support includes the repairing of schools, clean water and sanitation, as in most schools in Cambodia teaching conditions are horrible and sometimes become dangerous for children; no floor, no walls, mud and water everywhere and no clean water.
Our main help and support is given to the children so in any school and community we support we cover all the school expenses for all children and beyond we provide them all they need back at home to study in better conditions like desks and many more.
Bicycles are our priority. Realising that one of the man factors children drop out school is the bicycles we decided that each child will have its own new bicycle to go to high school. Every child.
Our help and support is not limited to materials and logistics, but we have set up programs and actions that are close to the communities’ needs and of course schools’ needs. We discuss together, we listen their problems, we exchange ideas and we have established a “Shoulder to Shoulder” program that finally fits to children and their special, unique characteristics they do have.
We are beside communities and schools, but most we are beside these children no matter what. The results so far put a smile upon our faces, a smile enough to continue with bigger passion.

Currently
We support 5 schools and changing the lives of over than 1000 children in more than 7 communities totally. With a pathway and focus these children will continue school.
Each school has special characteristics and needs and each one has a different starting point of support. The first school event delivery ceremony took place in Cambodia September 2023 on 28th with the first milestone of supporting 353 accomplished with great success changing the lives of all 353 children.
After Delivery ceremony of the first school we support, we have undertaken to help other 4 schools, most of them in worst condition and communities in a really poor conditions.
Our 5-year mission plan aims to create a portfolio supporting under the above scheme more than 9000 children and above 50 schools always tracking the progress of children in secondary school and supporting them accordingly.
What We do in a list
- We Support and Provide more opportunities for poor Children, in Cambodia and other countries, to Knowledge and Education in Sustainable safe and secure environment and growth.
- We support children, schools and communities as a unity, integrated, to break this poverty cycle, to succeed our aim; Children & Schools & Communities consist our three fundamental columns.
- Getting all children in school and learning needs cooperation with families, educators (teachers) and children needs. We all have the same goal; Children Learning is in the center of this plan. Children in School is our priority.
- We provide bicycles to any child to continue to high school.
- We provide to all children in primary school back packs, notebooks, pens, pencils, sport equipment and we cover all of their expenses for a complete academic year.
- The Reaching Out Project Innovation in education is not only about more materials, bicycles and backpacks to children. It’s about solving a real family and school problems in a simple way to encourage children go to school. NOT JUST FOCUS ON PRIMARY SCHOOL. WE implement a continuous process of children care throughout their University pathway.
- The Reaching Out Project works with communities, schools and Government to build strong, innovative education systems that enhance and support learning for all children. We cover children basic, social and school needs including expenses to attend school and bicycles to use in secondary school.
- We create Child Friendly Schools (As Government make a regulation), BUILDINGS-REPAIRING ETC.
- We create together with teachers, better quality in education to support and encourage children attend school.
- We create Educational and Teaching Programs like English classes, computer classes, culture and theatrical and dance classes etc).
- We support school needs for better teaching.
- We support families and communities “Shoulder to Shoulder” Door to Door and listen their problems that keep children away from school.
- We create committees (teams between teachers and villagers to help children continue school).
- We create a grandmothers’ program to keep small babies not going to school so family can work-a preschool care program.
- We support directly families covering their expenses for children to continue in high school.
- We monitor all children to prevent them drop out school in secondary school.
- We have partnerships to meet our Goals like Clean Water and Sanitation, Gender Equity, Children Care and Safety and Stop the Poverty.
- We build and repair child friendly schools providing the best school environment for children.
- We implement works and tasks in schools and communities such as infrastructure works, clean water and sanitation projects throughout region and Cambodia territory.
- We have established a tracking program for all children we support to ensure they have all they need to continue school; in addition, we enclose skills lessons for all children and through this process we transform young poor children into tomorrow leaders for their country. This program we call “Tomorrow Leaders”.
The Reaching Out Objectives
- To reverse the extreme high percentage of children, (65%) drop out high school which eventually leads them to early low rate labor works, pauperism and permanent poverty.
- To provide bicycles and school equipment (like back bags, notebooks, pens, pencils etc) and encourage them continue school because they cannot even afford buy them. Noted that in most cases high school is at least 7km away and with no bicycle daily walking in extreme conditions make them drop out school permanently.
- To support local communities by giving the children the best possible efforts for education through various actions and activities.
- To support communities and schools by implementing infrastructure works, such as toilets, changing rooms at school, providing water wells for potable water, flooding protection works in villages and communities etc.
- Making ELQ initiative and The Reaching Out Project a beacon reference for all of us and a pilot for supporting more schools in Cambodia, other countries in this South East Asia Region and Africa.
