Our Aim
We are committed to supporting and providing more opportunities for children in Cambodia
and other countries. Our focus is on imparting knowledge and education within a
sustainable, safe, and secure environment that fosters growth.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve and transform the lives of impoverished and vulnerable children in
Cambodia and beyond. We aim to create a pathway out of poverty, enhancing living
conditions, educational opportunities, and mental health support.

The Reaching out Project
We firmly believe that education is the only path towards a better life. Our cause is rooted in the fundamental belief that education provides children with pathways out of poverty and mental health disorders.
Poverty and lack of transportation are the primary reasons that children in Cambodia and the wider region permanently drop out of school. At the core of our mission is a determination to reverse this trend, ensuring that children stay in school. The poverty of families and non-child-friendly schools often lead children to grow up in unsafe and insecure environments within their communities, increasing risks to their physical and mental health. Underprivileged children and communities are the most affected. Through The Reaching Out Project, we make a direct impact on children’s lives by improving educational and living conditions. We strongly believe that this will create generational change and a better future for these children.
Our mission is based on three fundamental pillars: Children, Schools, and Communities. These are not separate from our cause. We aim to break the cycle of poverty and create a cycle of mental health and prosperity as part of a Global Call for Action. We are helping thousands of vulnerable children escape permanent poverty and forced labour. A safe, secure, and sustainable environment, education and child-friendly Schools are key factors ensuring that children stay in school and grow up sustainably.
The Reaching Out Project’s mission is intertwined with the children of Cambodia and is also expanding to other countries in the Southeast Asia Region and Africa.
Our Five-Year Strategic Program
To succeed in our aim and mission, we work towards achieving our set objectives and goals. The Reaching Out Project has developed a system based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to succeed in its mission and objectives. Our approach aligns with the top six SDGs that were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, eliminate mental health disorders, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. The Reaching Out Project’s program exceeds this universal call, as we have established and follow a more rigorous model based on 10 SDGs. This leads to sustainable growth, child-friendly schools, safe and secure communities with better living conditions, and an environment where children grow up free from violence, abuse, and injury, eliminating the existing hazards to children’s mental and psychological health.

As The Reaching Out Project, we have developed a comprehensive approach called the Integration of Needs Innovation System to address and meet all the adopted 10 SDGs to achieve better and faster results for poor and vulnerable children. As an organisation, The Reaching Out Project operates under a holistic approach; we innovate by integrating the needs and efforts of children, schools, and communities. This allows children to grow up in a safe and high-quality environment, receive an education, and become future leaders in their communities.
Our Integration of Needs Innovation System provides us with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges at hand. This drives our efforts towards succeeding in our aim and mission, and results in significant progress in children’s lives.

Our Vision extends beyond merely helping and supporting children, schools, and communities.
Children in School
Our “Shoulder to Shoulder“, “Door to Door”, “Tomorrow Leaders”, and “Grandmothers” programs are tailored to the unique characteristics of each school, community, family, and child. These programs, designed for teachers and families, could later serve as guidelines for the education sector, providing examples to other schools and communities about how to operate effectively.
We invest in the “Zero Hunger and Nutritious Food” and “Mental and Psychological Health Improvement and Skills” programs.
We support data collection and analysis to assist governments in assessing progress efforts across various outcomes and strengthening the overall education system. Our efforts promote transparency, shedding light on education systems and emerging problems, ensuring that students, parents, and communities have all the information they need to encourage children to stay in school.
We invest in the “Zero Hunger and Nutritious Food” and “Mental and Psychological Health Improvement and Skills” programs.
Our five-year mission plan aims to support more than 9,000 children and their communities, and over 50 schools under the above scheme, ensuring sustainable growth and continuous schooling for children.

The Reaching Out Project
We take pride in our ability to assist these children and communities in Cambodia. It is an honour to devote our best efforts to help this generation receive an education and lead the battle to end poverty. We are overjoyed to be a part of this historical journey.
We stand “Shoulder to Shoulder” for the needs of children and schools, and go “Door to Door” to every family who needs help. The Reaching Out Project will do whatever it takes to succeed in this mission.
